Penham Excel are the only Enforcement Agents in the country currently tackling persistent evaders on behalf of local authorities, this includes us being the first Enforcement Agents to initiate a Heavy Goods Vehicle enforcement process in Essex during summer 2017.
We are currently engaging with the Department for Transport on issues facing Local Authorities surrounding their ability to tackle persistent evaders and hopefully will be the first Enforcement Agents in the UK to be granted a trial which could result in a change to legislation.
We are already authorised and audited by the DVLA for obtaining vehicle keeper details in the pursuit of collecting road traffic debts issued under the Trace Management Act and council tax on behalf of Local Authorities.
